Tihara Smith takes inspiration from her Caribbean heritage with an added London twist. She is inspired by interesting textiles, bright colours, tropical flora and fauna. Tihara strives to create distinctive pieces that each have a story, and allow people to have a little piece of the Caribbean.

This vibrant print features the Black & British Raffia Vest which forms part of her Windrush Collection. This hand-embroidered raffia vest was designed and handmade by Tihara Smith and was acquired by the Museum of London for the collection in 2021. You can read the story behind this piece here
